Events in previous issues have forced Galloway & Galloway to bring the Troublemakers into the spotlight, to curb any fears folks may have about them. Then the hero kids recapture the Bellicose Brothers (from our last visit to this comic) and then after a superpowered criminal than Ninjak also happens to be looking into. Zach ends up showing up Ninjak, which Christine tries to apologize for. Ninjak understands that the boy is now his own hero and no longer looks up to Ninjak but warns the girl that this new direction in their lives may not be an easy one.
What they got right: The art is leagues better than the last time I read an issue. Comparing how Ninjak and the Brothers look here compared to the previous issue is light-years apart. Not being a regular follower of the series, I don’t know how well the Troublemakers going public was handled but they seem to know what they’re doing. Whether or not the adults do is a little more difficult.
What they got wrong: None of the press people brought up the morality of genetically altering your own offspring to give them superpowers? Although one guy asks if they know Elvis, which was a really bad joke on the writer’s part. Nicieza must have issues with the press or something.
Recommendation: A better showing than the last issue I read, and decent comic. Might be worth a read.
