Hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving. I was home with what I’m hoping was a last strike by my cold. I’m done with being sick this year! But at least I got to watch the MST3K Turkey Day marathon on Pluto TV (because I didn’t know everyone was watching on YouTube). And I’ve got some punching for you.
Mysterio’s whole gimmick is that he uses illusions for evil, and somehow hasn’t been picked up to join VENOM. Curse of separate universes I guess. You may remember from Tuesday his plan to steal oil from squatters because that makes no legal sense whatsoever. Well, the man wears a fishbowl on his head. That can’t help the oxygen supply. The smart solution would be find the owners, work with them to have the squatters removed, work to excavate the oil, and share the profits. Greed is seldom smart.

“Power Punch” round 2
The Battlefield: The Adventures Of Spider-Man #9 (Marvel; December, 1996) “Where Demons Ride!”
The Promoters: Nel Yomtov (writer), Alex Saviuk (penciler) Rob Stull (inker), Kevin Tinsley (colorist), and Steve Dutro (letterer)
Spider-Man (whose aunt is the aforementioned landowner and unaware of the oil) drops in to stop Mysterio. After going through a string of illusions Spidey finally manages to catch up to Mysterio himself.
Of course “no more games” apparently doesn’t mean not breaking out the toys.
However, Spacebooger doesn’t want fake punches. He wants the real deal!
How does he do that without breaking his fist? Oh right, proportional strength of a spider.
Head to Spacebooger.com and vote for your favorite Friday Night Fight! Winners of these 12 rounds head to the Prize Fight, so feel free to join in. We could use the competition. Rules are posted on Tuesdays.
