I mentioned it during yesterday’s Chapter By Chapter review of course, but in case you missed it, Carrie Fisher, mostly known for playing Princess Leia Organa in the Star Wars franchise, passed away over the weekend, the aftermath of a heart attack suffered earlier in the week during a plane flight. It’s a bad time for the franchise given Abram’s current sequel, but it’s never a good time for her family and friends, who miss her more than you ever will. So please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The Hartford Courant yesterday had an excellent article about Carrie Fisher’s life. Wednesday night also featured good reports about her on both Extra and Entertainment Tonight. Carrie Fisher certainly had an outrageous sense of humor! Just saw in this morning’s Hartford Courant that her mother Debbie Reynolds has now passed away. Add George Michael to this list, and this Christmas week has been a sad one in terms of celebrity deaths. At least mother and daughter are now reunited in heaven.
