Yes, for reasons I can’t explain, DC Comics’ crossover with Kentucky Fried Chicken is a big hit at San Diego Comic-Con (maybe because DC forgot how to have fun for so long?) that they’re doing it again. Don’t ask me, folks. I just report them.

    I hate to be cynical, but I bet that KFC is paying DC major money for this unique form of advertising for KFC foods. KFC has been facing a lot of competition lately from other establishments such as Popeye’s. So this comic book is the perfect way to set KFC above all the other chicken franchises. Or……has Warner Communications also bought KFC? What’s next? Maybe Subway should team up with Marvel because over the past four years, Subway has had lower profits. They could have a comic book called “Super Sub” about a 12 inch sub that has amazing super powers and collaborates along with other super heroes. Is this the road that comics are going to start travelling down?
