A tale of the 13th Phantom: When King Louis XVIII disbanded the Musketeers some of them turned to life of a mercenary while others tried to regain their titles through questionable methods. For example, three of them (no, not those three) have taken the Heart Of Lafitte, which brings the Phantom after them. That’s because the Heart is his sister Jeanette–who also happens to be the 13th’s wife! As you can imagine he’s willing to risk much to rescue her, but the sister of Jean Lafitte is at least capable of helping.
What they got right: This is the benefit of the Phantom legacy, to see stories of previous Phantoms in different time periods. The art is fantastic.
What they got wrong: But why is the lettering so small?
Recommendation: A great Phantom story. Worth getting.
