Despite recently promoting how their comics were “only” $2.99, and despite getting praise from comic fans for not being Marvel and caring about their comics again…after the nightmare of the New 52 and before hiring Brian Michael “Continuity Is For Suckers” Bendis to take over BOTH current Superman titles, DC Comics has decided to raise the prices of their comics. It’s like everyone involved forgot that comics grew because kids could spend their allowance on a few comics and get to enjoy the stories, thus leading to more readers. Oh right, modern comics don’t want anything that might make comics look like they’re for kids because a bunch of “adults” want to read a comic in peace without idiots getting on their case.
