My exposure to Ultraman was in animation, a TV movie (miniseries in some areas I hear) produced in cooperation with Hanna-Barbera. I remember being disappointed when Towards The Future was live-action because I didn’t know the franchise’s history at the time. Now Netflix is getting a computer-animated Ultraman cartoon. Also Viz is translating a manga and we can add that to the list of reasons I wish I had money coming in.
