One of the strengths of the Marvel Cinematic Universe over the recent DC films is that the MCU is willing to embrace the comic book nature of the source material (comic books…duh) and stay relatively true to those characters, with minor differences. Most of the time. There are also some major changes as the screenwriters and directors will often change things for whatever reason, turning them more into bad references than good translations.
