Zapped by an alien, Superman begins to slowly shrink. Despite STAR Labs’ best efforts Superman shrinks to microscopic levels and then through science I couldn’t begin to explain ends up bigger than the Earth to scare off an invading alien force (the other guy must have been a scout or sent to put Superman out of their hair) before returning to normal size.
What they got right: I like the alien design and the interactions between Superman and Lois.
What they got wrong: Yeah, even I’m not convinced the science makes sense, even for a Superman story. This is “spin the Earth backwards to reverse time” levels of science doesn’t work that way.
Recommendation: There are things to like about the issue but unless you’re after the full series there isn’t anything here to really track down.
