ICv2 is reporting that Scholastic Books has reached a deal with Marvel to publish a series of young adult novels starring Marvel heroes. I’m not talking about novelizations of comic storylines like The Death And Life Of Superman. These will be original stories (although I don’t know and doubt they will be canon to the comics) featuring their heroes. I kind of wonder why since the same article notes Marvel and Disney Books already does this but Marvel/Disney is making a lot of weird decisions lately. They already have IDW making their kids comics for both Spider-Man and Star Wars.
