The Flash shows up to visit a school, but one kid isn’t happy because it’s the original Flash, Jay Garrick, and not Wally West the “real” Flash. Not that it could be since Mirror Master just captured the younger Flash and trapped the Justice League in a teleport beam. Jay faces Mirror Master and saves the other heroes and together the two Flashes defeat Mirror Master and teaches a certain brat some manners.
What they got right: It’s nice to see a story with the old Flash, who is still just as good as the other heroes. They do explain why he can teleport up to the Watchtower satellite (though one could question the science).
What they got wrong: I’m not a fan of how the kids are drawn in this comic, especially the one they’re focusing on. The heads look a bit too big and their faces, notably the eyes, look a bit too small in comparison. Little Mr. Not-The-Real-Flash doesn’t have much of an expression.
Recommendation: A good story that’s worth checking out.
