Things like this are why I don’t trust the mainstream press (they do this too) and why I put myself through reading Seduction Of The Innocent as a remind of how old this war on any new format of media has gone on. It’s also why I don’t like the media pecking order, because it means these new forms do a lousy job of standing up for themselves and we’ve even seen with comics buying in to the snobbery seemingly wholeheartedly.
