Nice poster. Where’s the comic cover?

As Uncle Chuck tests Sonic’s speed, Sonic thinks back to recent events. A new council is formed and he’s on it, but he begins to feel unnecessary, having been in the fight for so very long. Rotor wants to visit his family but Sally needs him in Mobotropolis. Some advice from Rosie may give him ideas on what he can do now. Meanwhile, Snively learns that Ixis is back in this dimension when Ixis’ minions are brought to the Devil’s Gulag, still crystalized, so he sends the Eggbots to find the wizard. In present day Sonic and Uncle Chuck finally make peace over Chuck being forced to hide the fact that Sonic’s parents are still alive but roboticized just as the Eggbots fly overhead and Sonic gets an alert call.

What they got right: What does a warrior do when the war is over? While this comic doesn’t answer the question it does set the question up, continuing the transition not only for the former Freedom Fighters but for the comic itself.

What they got wrong: Not really much, though it doesn’t lend itself to a lot of action by necessity of the story that has to be told here.

What I think overall: The comic does what it needs to do for the story, and not much else. I’m not sure how much to blame on that but this isn’t a good comic to come in on.
