As Hardcase lays dying, Choice manages to chase off Hardwire and get Hardcase to a hospital. On the way, he has an out of body experience where he sees the spirit of Starburst telling him to return because his work isn’t over. In the hospital, the shapeshifter who pretended to be Officer Brown shows up again, calling herself Regina (and remembering the mustache this time), warning him about Hardwire’s powers before being interrupted by the actual Brown. With Hardcase surrounded by the press and assured that he’s out of commission, The Controller sends Hardwire to clear out some Triad-controlled neighborhood, but Regina told our heroes where to find him, and they easily take him down thanks to Regina’s information. Meanwhile, there may be more to Rex Mundi than he appears to be, as he sends a group of ultra baddies to the moon.

DOES THIS MEAN WE’RE GOING TO FINALLY SEE WHAT PRIME IS UP TO, READING LIST? (Checks list) I’m starting to think I chose the wrong list, but I’m not sure I can back out now.

What they got right: There’s some good action in this one, and apparently more questions surrounding the origins of Hardcase and Choice. They make a good team, too. (Sorry, Bob.)

What they got wrong: Unless I missed something, because I only learned it while looking up a few things and dodging spoilers, how did Hardcase know the shapeshifter was called The Alternate? Or did he give her that nickname accidentally?

What I think overall: This is one of the interesting comics thus far. Looking forward to seeing where this is going.
