There’s not much to summarize here. Hardcase and Choice try to head to Groom Lake again to learn Choice’s backstory, and Aladdin’s goons squad tries to stop them. Emphasis on tries as the hero wipe the floor with Dust Devil, Foxfire, and War Eagle while Headknocker and Livewire take the “let them come to us approach”, and get the drop on our duo as Choice’s powers recover.
What they got right: Nice gag with Hardware trying and failing to save another car. Otherwise it’s almost non-stop action, taking time to breathe and check in on the guys who can’t fly into battle where appropriate. It doesn’t shove in anything unnecessary.
What they got wrong: Unless all you want to see is a lot of superpowered fighting, you won’t get much from this issue.
What I think overall: I may come back to this to show off the fight in that Four Color Combat feature I started recently. It’s well done, though it comes at the cost of plot development. I still enjoyed the issue, though.
