Interestingly little commentary of fake geek guys.
I’m sure you’ve guessed by now that Leon is the sounding board of every issue I have with the entertainment industry. (Jake on the other hand is my sounding board for everything I think is fun.) I think this is probably the most blatant I’ve ever been about it.
Around this time some guy’s blog post about how some hot girls pretend to be geeks just to get attention from geeky guys they don’t care about. The idea was that attractive people aren’t geeks. I say who cares? They’re having fun and if they are pretending about how much they’re into Homestuck (which I think has replaced Hetalia) that is not a reason to be angry. It’s just really sad.
If Leon looks a bit different between panels, there’s a reason. I was experimenting with various pencils, trying to find the one that offered me the best control in this style. I think panel 3 came out the best.
