I’d apologize to Californians if I thought any of them were reading this.
In the first Christmas special I did with Jake & Leon (which introduced Beth and her parents) I wanted to bring up Leon’s upbringing in an orphanage as a subplot. Due to time that didn’t happen, and I think the story was better off. I finally introduced the idea in a different story in the main strip. So this year I thought I would finally bring in Jake’s family. Now I just need to remember if Jake has a sister. I know I mentioned his brother.
