Maybe they can make fun of Rocky instead.
This is kind of a two-joke comic. One involving another situation where you wonder where the real world ends and the Power Rangers world begins. For Zordon, I went with colored markers to simulate the effect of his tube. I was going to use markers for the entire scene as a test, but I don’t have any “skin color” markers for Tommy, so I just went with the old colored pencils. Maybe next time.
I also went with blue rather than black for the wall so you could make out Tommy’s White Ranger vest. I’m thinking for future Ranger parody strips I’m going to try to go season by season, so the next one may involve something Ninja Ranger Power style.
