At least it isn’t Neelix coming back.
With a bit more study time I might have done a better job translating the current Star Trek: Prodigy designs to my art style but I didn’t. This is what happens when you only have two days to draw a comic outside of the usual Jake & Leon style. One thing I noticed is that in the actual designs most of the kids have really small feet, something I opted not to translate because big legs and small feet, especially the two bipeds in panel 3, just look wrong. I was thinking about how SF Debris (a review series I highly recommend) will handle Janeway returning as a hologram, which we’ve been told is how she’ll be in the show.; Any version of Charles Sonneberg’s Janeway teaching a group of kids has to make for some great comedy. Because we aren’t getting it from Lower Decks! 😀
My guess was a take on the “Emergency Medical Hologram” might be where they’re going and it all came together into this strip.
