When I first decided to take the comic in a commentary direction, I already had Jake as an amateur cartoonist trying to go pro because I thought having one character on the “inside” was a good idea. This also led to Max becoming a supporting cast member. It was first established in the 2009 Christmas comic.
However, I wanted Leon to be on the outside, but while I gave him a job similar to the one I have in my head I never established it. Thinking about it, and having read a lot of the webcomic Comic Critics (not quite a marathon) I thought having Leon (who represents my critical side) as an internet critic, except writing articles instead of videos like the other webcomic, would be a good way to go. Will I actually do it? I don’t know. It’s just a thought.
