Marvel.com is hosting subtitled versions of the Japanese Spider-Man television series from the 70’s.

As you can see, it’s somewhat different from the web-slinger we all know and love. I’ll do a take on the first episode on this weekend’s Saturday Night Theater (and try to watch the others up there at the time, as they’re up to 8* as I write this, with a new episode every Thursday), but I’ve seen a pilot before someplace that now I can’t find. Put that on the list along with the Solarman cartoon and the original Fox version of (Pirates of) Dark Water of things I know exist but can’t post or prove. (Actually, I have plenty of back-up for Solarman.)

(*Correction, as of the 19th: There are only three episodes up, but 8 places marked in the site’s search engine. Apparently episode 6 has a parental advisory attached.
