Sonic and the gang arrive to back up the other Freedom Fighters, and that’s Nicole’s cue to “turn” against the Iron Queen. The final battle begins, and Snively runs like the coward he is to free the restored Robotnik. In the end, the Freedom Fighters win, the Iron Empire is chased off, and Lien-Da finally gets what’s coming to her.

What they got right: If you wanted a huge fight, congratulations, this is the comic for you. And while no moment qualifies as a stand out moment, it’s a pretty good battle.

What they got wrong: I kind of felt that too much was wrapped up all at once, and I’m sure there are spoilers here for the current Sonic Universe arc, which was what I was afraid of.

Recommendation: If you’ve been reading this arc, this a…mostly…satisfying conclusion. Worth at least reading for the fight.
