Doctor Who #15
IDW Publishing (September 2010)
WRITER: Tony Lee ARTIST: Matthew Dow Smith COLORIST: Charlie Kirchoff LETTERER: Neil Uyetake EDITOR: Denton J. Tipton COVER ARTIST: Paul Grist COVER COLORIST: Phil Elliott
With the truth of Kol’Ne-Wah discovered, the Doctor sends Prof. Hugh to stop the fighting. Robert refuses to believe anyone besides the Advocate thanks to their shared hatred of the Doctor. The former colonists, however, are willing to listen and that sends Robert over the edge, with Emily killed in his rage. Meanwhile, the Advocate forces Matthew to activate the terraforming device, and now only he can deactivate it…but will die in the feedback!
What they got right: Lee has created the type of villains I like, the type you want to hate. Matthew has been reformed, as he should be, and the suspense is on par with the better series stories.
What they got wrong: I got nothing.
Recommendation: Tennant’s comic run is definitely going out with a bang. If Lee can avoid Davies’ Doctor worshiping finales, I will be most satisfied.

That mouse has toppled empires!
