While I’ll be doing at least one Christmas post per week on the “free days” Saturday Night Showcases this month are all about Christmas. Since I have to get my Christmas decorations up tonight is a quick post. In 1950, a special entitled The Spirit of Christmas aired, using marionettes to tell a series of Christmas tales. Tonight I bring you one of the performances. The people are scarier than the Supermarionantion models, but there’s still a bit of charm in this presentation of Twas the Night Before Christmas (or a Visit From St. Nicholas).
