Last week we used the Scooby-Doo gang to drop the New Year’s Ball. Tonight we return to that comic to foil a carjacking. And this car would be the Mystery Machine.

Fight Life round 2 of 12
The Battlefield: Scooby-Doo #75, New York Post giveaway edition, “Lean, Mean Mystery Machine!” (DC Comics)
The Promoters: Robbie Busch (writer), Joe Staton (penciler), Horacio Ottolini (inker), Tom Orzechowski (letterer), Sno Cone (colors), Harvey Richards (asst. editor) and Joan Hilty (editor)
This is based on the What’s New Scooby-Doo era of the franchise, where Velma installs a bunch of gadgets into the Mystery Machine. This attracts the attention of thieves who hack the computer and steal the Machine. Luckily, the gang knows how to get it back.

Don't worry, kids, the ground broke his fall.
I know what you’re thinking, “where did Daphne get superstrength?” But wait, there’s more.

I know my dad isn't as pretty as Daphne. Then again, he's a dude.
That’s right, kids, Daphne now has superpowers! Or not.

Don't forget the virtual reality hologram and remote control system.
Hey, who knows more about faking the supernatural than Mystery, Inc.? Oh, and since that’s the last story in this comic, new comic book next week. I’ll be grabbing another one at random and seeing how much we can milk out of it. Tune in next week, but for now…
