Sonic, Sally, and Nicole attend Mina’s concert. However, that concert contains songs bashing Nicole, hurting the construction emotionally, and leading to Sally and Sonic confronting the singer. All of this plays into the hands of Ixis Naugus, who watches along with Geoffery. In the back-up story, Nicole is comforted by Dimitri and Espio.
What they got right: While I have some personal misgivings with the story, from a writing perspective it’s well done and exploring the aftereffects of the Iron Queen controlling Nicole is worth exploring.
What they got wrong: I’m not sure why the back-up story couldn’t just be considered part of the main story.
Recommendation: It’s a good story but sadly it’s part of this arc, and I’ve expressed my issues with that in the last two Sonic the Hedgehog comic reviews.

Comedy's hard.

It also has the best looking cover I’ve seen on a Sonic comic or most other comics.

It’s nice as artwork, but to me a comic cover should sell the story inside, not act like a movie poster.
