Still in the alternate universe, Silver is rescued from the “prelates” by that universe’s future Freedom Fighters, including an alternate version of Lara-Su who goes by “Jani-Ca”. They bring Silver up to speed on how things are in their universe and the origin of the prelates and this realities version of Enerjak, who then launches an attack on the Freedom Fighters planning to use Silver’s power to his own ends.
What they got right: Alternate reality stories allow writers to play games with established characters without screwing up the actual characters. The backstory of this world is set up well enough and while the back-up characters really don’t do much when there isn’t a battle scene, Silver and “Jani-Ca”, the focus characters, are done well enough. Jani-Ca I want to learn more about.
What they got wrong: I know there are time and space issues (no pun intended) but I don’t have a reason to care about the rest of the Freedom Fighters. And since we can all figure out who this universe’s Enerjak is, why not just tell Silver and get it over with?
Recommendation: I can see why Silver fans have been asking for him to get a focus issue. Worth checking out.

"Don't crowd me, bro."
