London, Sept. 12, 1851: The Doctor finds thieving aliens working in a carnival freak show. Their plan to return to space could well endanger the Earth so he and his new friend, Nathaniel Derridge, must stop them before it’s too late.
What they got right: I’m not sure how accurately they depict London, 1851 but I certainly believed it. The art is well done, even if it didn’t super-excite me.
What they got wrong: Nothing. The writing is in keeping with the style of the show, with the chapter breaks feeling natural (it is a collection of three short strips from the magazine).
Recommendation: I hope there are more stories by Collins in this run. It was a good story. Worth getting.
