Doctor Who V2 #11
IDW Publishing (November, 2011)
WRITER: Tony Lee ARTIST: Matthew Dow Smith COLORIST: Charlie Kirchoff LETTERER: Shawn Lee EDITOR: Denton J. Tipton COVER “A” (shown) ARTIST: Mark Buckingham
With the Doctor and Amy in each others bodies, and the downsides of that–especially to Amy, our heroes race to find a way to switch back with the help of the semi-repentant Dr. Rubin. However, the transference victims are planning a radical revenge. And one of the Doctor’s friends will betray him.
What they got right: There’s a call back to the Doctor/Donna, and the past two Doctors wanting to be a redhead (or “ginger” as they apparently say across the pond). Lee was able to sell me on yet another sci-fi cliché (the body swapping episode).
What they got wrong: There’s a betrayal I didn’t see coming and I disappointed one of the Doctor’s friends would do that to him.
Recommendation: Lee will soon be leaving the title, and while that’s bad he’s given us a great run that I very much recommend to any fan of this Doctor and the series as a whole.

That's the kind of man she is.
