The Strike Force take off after the Reptilians and even the Connors help in the battle. One of the Strike Force learns the enemy’s master plan but gets herself caught, with our heroes wondering what they can do now to save Earth.

What they got right: The action is intense but you get a brief idea as to who the characters are (outside of their names, check the “got wrong”) and their personalities. There could be something to build off of here.

What they got wrong: We’re at issue #2 and we still don’t have a proper introduction of these characters. I need to track down #0 to find out who these guys are. (It’s in my collection somewhere, but I should have to do that just to learn the names of more than three characters.) Also, solicits at ComiXology say that issues #4 & #5 are going under “mature reader”, yet thus far while I wouldn’t let younger readers at this, I would call this an all-ages (with an older kid target) comic. It would be a shame if it didn’t stay that way, especially with toys coming out based off of the property.

Recommendation: This comic is starting to impress me, but they should give us a proper introduction to the characters so we know who is whom. I say give it a look.

Next time, use a shorter fuse and run.
