The colors are new but the comic is a reprint so I’m going with it. Last week I reviewed Donatello’s team-up with Jack Kirby (or a simulation) so tonight let’s see them in action. Actually, most of the comic is one huge fight so I’m just going to show my favorite moment from the fight.

The Battlefield: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #10 by way of the IDW Color Classics (Mirage/IDW; May, 1986/March, 2013) “”Kirby And The Warp Crystal”

The Promoters: Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird (writers/artist), Steve Lavigne (letterer), with Scorpion Studios providing the coloring

However, Donatello’s outnumbered and could use some help. Enter Kirby and his magic pencil.

Yeah, that sounds like something Jack Kirby would create.

Well now our hero shouldn’t have any problem. Unless Kirby forgot to draw batteries.

And that’s what I like about Donatello. His resourcefullness.
