I’m still working on capturing the look of real-world people.
I was watching the TV ad for Thor: The Dark World during Agents Of SHIELD. I can’t be the only one who thought he looked more like Superman than the guy in Man Of Steel. By the way, I tried putting the basketball pattern on not-Superman and darkening the colors but it didn’t quite come out as planned. At least the far shot looks like Nolan and Snyder’s approved costume, stupid as it looks.
- The Clutter Reports: Hey, we finally got some clutter cleaning done. I helped my dad clean out the garage and in hindsight we should have taken pictures. This was before my mother ended up in the hospital with a major infection and some other issues. This is why there was no posting to BW on Friday. She’s doing better now so maybe I can focus on my own cleaning…although I still have to find a job.
- Reviewers Unknown: Just a repost of my Agents of SHIELD review, in case you missed it here at BW this week. It was posted late for the same reasons.
I give a lot of credit to the doctor and nurses who treated my mom, and even to the pharmaceutical company who created the medications they used. I also give thanks to God and the BW Twitter followers who prayed for her or just wished us well. That and our family were a big help to her, although she doesn’t know about the Twitter reports.
This week we’ll give the Galactica comics a rest before diving into Realm Press’s run on the series. Expect more complaining about the “painted art” style because Realm used it a lot. And yet it still looked better than Liefeld’s Galactica. Commentaries will be light this week, but I’ll try to fit one or two in, and hopefully I’ll be back for this week’s Friday Night Fight. Time will tell.
