Nightwing #6

Tim as Robin, Dick as Nightwing. That’s how it feels right to me.

Nightwing’s search continues and this time he has some help from Robin (Tim). A lead goes sour because Soames finds out Nightwing is on to them. Meanwhile, another twisted head corpse is about to be added to the list, and Dick solves his other big mystery…what does his super look like?

What they got right: I always like when Dick and Tim hang out and this takes a few minutes to explore the differences as well as how Dick thinks of Tim like family, like a brother. Also, we get to meet the super, and she looks nothing like her accent would make you think. Nice dodge.

What they got wrong: I don’t like the way Tim is drawn in this comic. He seems a lot younger here, thanks to him having a more round face. It looks closer to Damian, and he wouldn’t be created for decades yet…and he’s too happy.

Recommendation: Things keep getting interesting and next issue may have a payoff…finally. Worth it if only to see Dick and Tim together.
