
Having spent the night in hotels for conventions, I’ve seen that DirectTV has their own networks and programming and this may be true for other cable & satellite services beyond local access channels. Online sites like Netflix and Hulu have their exclusives. Now Sony and Microsoft are making shows exclusive to their game consoles. (Remember when video game consoles just played video games?)
