With the kind of life Fred Glosman had he was almost destined to be drawn to crimes involving suits or costumes, what they call a “clotheshorse”.  Under the “professional” name Edward “Ned” Carroway he became the Gentleman Bandit among other identities. This led him to being part of many gangs with costume gimmicks. It also led him to a wife and daughter and he wanted out. Unfortunately one his old “pals” knew how to play on his psychological issues, and keeps drawing him back.

What they got right: It is interesting to see what goes on in the mind of a criminal who takes part in gimmick gangs common in comic book universes. (The best you get in the real world are unintentionally matching hoodies.) You kind of feel sorry for the guy when his personal demons keep drawing him back into the criminal world at the cost of his family.

What they got wrong: Which is why I really wanted to see this turn into some kind of redemption tale. One of his early influences was the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood. Imagine if he reformed the wolf? Or is that just how my brain works?

Recommendation: Another good story, as typical for this title. Go give it a buy.

I know I usually say music doesn't work in comics but something about this group I like.
