Transformers: Windblade #3
IDW Publishing (June, 2014)
WRITER: Marghread Scott ARTIST: Sarah Stone LETTERER: Chris Mowry ASSISTANT EDITOR: Rebecca Huard EDITOR: John Barber
Windblade and her ad hoc crew end up in Starscream’s clutches. However, Windblade soon suspects that while Starscream has been up to some shenanigans the bigger damage to Metroplex is coming from another party. And she just might be right.
What they got right: The mystery is getting more and more interesting. Also this is the most interested I’ve been in Transformers characters since Orion Pax stopped being Optimus Prime and became a space nomad.
What they got wrong: The problem is, were this an exception I might enjoy the story. However, this is still not what I pick up a Transformers comic for.
Recommendation: At least this story I’m actually enjoying. Scott is currently the best Transformers writer they have so look into this comic. I haven’t been bored or creeped out once and that works for me.
