Since I reviewed the entirety (minus the issue I’m missing) of Revelation: The Comic Book it’s only right that I grab the fight from there. Bak put together some side stories and tried his best to interpret John’s vision with a modern eye. What is created includes one of the coolest scenes involving a fictional account of the Son of God ever!

“Boogaloo” round 4
The Battlefield: Revelation: The Comic Book #5 (Drawn Near Art Studios; 1996)
The Promoters: Leo Bak (adaptation) and Lucy Kim (letterer)
All the world has decided to wipe out Israel, since Satan has convinced them that the Jews and Christians work for the space aliens. I’m not sure if this is comics or a commentary on Scientology. Anyway, God has had enough. The newly saved are about to be attacked, but here comes Jesus, the man who once warded off Peter for brandishing a sword against the guys trying to arrest him. However, that was then. This is now.
But that’s just one artist’s interpretation.
