Godzilla’s tour of America takes him to cattle country. Here he comes across some cattle bones but cowboys assume Godzilla is behind the disappearing cattle. The real source, cattle rustlers, use the opportunity to hide their actions by calling all the cowboys around to attempt to capture Godzilla…and he ends up at their ranch!
What they got right: I do admit a light story isn’t a bad thing.
What they got wrong: But cattle rustlers and cowboys? THIS is Godzilla’s next opponent after the Mega-Monsters? Are you nuts? And it’s a two-parter?
Recommendation: I have yet to see a Godzilla story I would scare people away from but this easily goes on the “don’t bother going out of your way to read it” list. Seriously…cowboys.
