Batman '66 Meets The Green Hornet #3

When Bruce and Britt got to the fights it was standing room only.

The Joker and Gumm take Robin and Kato prisoner, forcing them to fight to the death. Batman and the Green Hornet are forced to work together to rescue their teammates. But when that’s over it’s back to their usual practice for the two duos.

What they got right: Now this is what I like to see more of, heroes teaming together, even if Batman doesn’t know the Green Hornet is actually a crime fighter and not a criminal. I’m hoping the series ends with the heroes learning the truth (I’m neutral on identities) about the Green Hornet and his comrade.

What they got wrong: Batman sprays Hornet with the Bat-Sleep right in the face after complaining about the Hornet Gas’s bad aftertaste. West’s Batman shouldn’t be getting revenge like that. Feels wrong.

Recommendation: Still, it’s a minor complaint and a good comic. I continue to support it.

Yes, there’s a cool shot later of both heroes busting through the skylight but this amused me more.
