The Power Rangers are supposed to be teenagers, right? Well, I’m pretty sure the only actor who hadn’t gotten out of college was the one who hadn’t gone to a real high school yet. The Glee and Beverly Hills, 90210 casts are the same way. It’s worse when “mom” is practically the same age as her “son” (possibly because casting directors are afraid of anyone over 40). But there’s also the nagging wife who isn’t even well-meaning, the slamming of any cool kids that don’t morph into superheroes, and the only time someone is allowed to be old, the crazy person in the horror movie who turns out to be 100% right.
