The problem with doing just old comics lately is having too many possible comics to choose from. That’s kind of a pain, but I think I have one. It’s Iron Man versus Radioactive Man!

No, not him.

“Ghost” round 3
The Battlefield: (All-New) Iron Man #179 (Marvel; February, 1984) “Mission Into Darkness”
The Promoters: Denny O’Neil (writer), Luke McDonnell (penciler), Steve Mitchell (inker), Roy G. Biv (colorist), and Rick Parker (letterer)
Iron Man (with a “Rhodey” center) was hired to protect a bunch of crates. So was Radioactive Man, but not the same crates and RM doesn’t know IM isn’t here for him. So he decides to get the first strike in.
Rhodey escapes being crushed between two ships by Chen Lu but is still trying to be civil.
However, Radioactive Man isn’t the talkative type. (I’m starting to think he’s mute, actually.)
Since the glowing bad guy (and it turns out in a later story he still is) seems really interested in protecting this stuff Iron Man sees a way to end this without damaging what he’s trying to protect and to end this fight.
And no, I’m not a “Bronie”, but I’ve seen the show enough times that I have a favorite. Pinkie Pie if you really need to know. She’s fun!
