Unable to talk the Aquarian leaders into calling off their plans to invade Fission City, Kara helps the Sharks escape to warn them. What they find is Paradigm in control of the military and targeting them…until the Aquarian army and the giant crab (now under their control) invade. However, the crab is still drawn to the offshore nuclear plant, forcing all parties to work together to stop the crab before it irradiates everyone. the solution comes from Dr. Bolton, who leaves a message for his sons. The Aquarians retreat and Kara goes with them, hoping to talk her father out of invading again.

What they got right: It was a satisfying conclusion to everything (except Paradigm is still on the Mayor’s good side). The Aquarians make for a potentially interesting third factor, and I wouldn’t mind if they ditched Pirahnoid and the Seviants (which they wouldn’t have since they were the villains of the toyline) and made the issues between Fission City and Aquaria the series’ focus. Or maybe I just want Streex and Kara to get together.

What they got wrong: How did the crab’s extra mass turn into water? To wash out the Aquarian army? Just have the thing shrink down to normal size and the Aquarians give up and run without their “ace in the hole”.

Recommendation: In the final analysis, while I can’t call the series bad it just didn’t impress me enough to keep in my collection. I’m sure fans might want to check it out, but it’s just not for me.
