When I saw all of the tributes done by cartoonists in support of the slain satirists I had a thought I should do something, not to join in (this is a few days after, but it’s a weekly comic) but because, as the caption says, it’s a comic strip featuring two cartoonists with one being a title character. Not being politically minded (my satire is usually pointed at the entertainment industry and occasionally at the fandoms that come from it) this was the best I could come up with.
There is a change in my “clutter for sale” listings over at The Clutter Reports. I’m finally moving listings over to eBay. Right not it’s just some untranslated manga, but I plan to have a new comic, book, toy, or video game over there each day whenever possible until I’ve cleared some of this clutter out. I’m focusing on what’s already listed on the sell page before diving into new stuff. Plus I could use the money with no way to pay bills. I’m still new with it so I’m experimenting with the manga. Hopefully things work out. I’m also hoping things settle down around here as it’s been distracting. Now I just need to get some income, even if that income is a job that isn’t my career goal (the articles, comics, and videos that I’m assuming brought you here).
Next week features a new set of comics to go over, a Speed Racer miniseries called Chronicles Of The Racer. While I have more Speed Racer comics these I wasn’t too happy with when I bought them, so I’m giving them another chance to remain in my collection. Friday will be a “cinemanga” type digest comic anthology that came with a free DVD. Was it worth it? Find out this week, as well as the Monday DCs getting into the Armageddon 2001 reviews. Enjoy.
