As my readers already know I’m not happy with the modern take on superheroes. I have nothing against most of it, but the tropes everyone claims to “deconstruct” no longer exists. For today’s Art Soundoff, I put on my imaginary hard hat and make the case that it may be time to rebuild the superhero genre for those of us who prefer the classic version.
