If there isn’t on-screen chemistry between characters playing friends (and especially love interests), it’s not going to go well for the movie. However, sometimes even good on-screen chemistry may not equal good OFF-screen chemistry. Writing for The New York Post’s website, Jane Ridley found 10 such examples in movies and television. And yes, the above picture contains one such example. Some didn’t get along, some hated each other, and two oddly would later start dating, proving how little I understand Hollywood-types.
