I love how that never occurred to them.

I may defend superhero marriages but not every hero has to start off with some kind of love interest.

In this week’s Clutter Report it’s the last of the original Robots In Disguise leaders, that series’ version of Megatron, which suffers from a few too many alt modes.

Those of you who read the “Spider-Island” storyline have been introduced to the idea of Spider-Ham, Spidey’s anthropomorphic counterpart, but you really don’t know what he was like. They gave him a really different personality. I know because I happen to have a few issues of Peter Porker: The Spectacular Spider-Ham, and guess what we’ll be reviewing for the next few Fridays? Meanwhile, the DC Adventures tie-in comics return to Saturdays with the adaptation of “World’s Finest” (aka The Batman Superman Movie) that set up Batman and company’s move from Fox Kids to Kids WB.

I’m not going to bother listing other plans because lately my plans have a knack for failing. I was hoping to get some government assistance tied to my Crohn’s, but that seems to be considered in remission now. I have no references and haven’t worked since 2013 so I don’t know what I can get, but even if I can find a job the odds of being able to go to ConnectiCon this year (unless one of you has something in the range of $400-500 to spare for hotel, admission if I can’t get a press pass, food, and picking up some stuff for later review) looks highly unlikely. I still want to get the panels from last year done if I can before this year’s event, but we’ll see what happens. Like I said, my plans seem to be failing to happen lately. Like that theory I’m also hoping to do this week. We’ll see.

I’m sorry to hear about your disappointment. You really seemed to have a strong case. It looks like the federal government is really stingy with handing out funds even when it’s for somebody who truly deserves it for the suffering they have faced.

You should set up an appointment with your local regional Department of Labor office. Their job is to help people get jobs. The Department of Labor especially has programs designed to help long term unemployed people get employment again. If one government agency won’t help you, then have a different agency aid you into a job again.

Will you at least get to enjoy Free Comics Day this year? There appears to be many comics being offered for free that day that you might be interested in: Star Trek, Legend of Zelda, Dragonball Z, Street Fighter vs. Wrestlers, Doctor Who (4 Doctors), etc.

    • I’m hoping to. I plan to go over the previews later tonight, which will reviewed for Tuesday’s feature article.

That’s good to hear. I think you’ll really like some of those titles. I notice this is the 2nd year in a row that there’s a free Captain Canuck comic. The publisher of that particular comic is certainly working hard to promote this superhero from north of the border!
