I have mixed feelings on this one. It probably doesn’t help that allegedly pro site Screen Crush is becoming snarkier than a blog done by a guy in his attic, but it’s an odd one. They’re reporting that Sony is releasing the TV and airline edits of some of their movies to make them more “family friendly”. Hey, even some adults don’t like swears and nudity, and frankly a few movies on this list might appeal to kids. Actually just Spider-Man and Ghostbusters and I only list the latter because they made two cartoons based on the movies, maybe even Pixels because it has cute video game characters and it’s good to warn kids about Adam Sandler early without exposing them to 8 Crazy Nights. But 50 First Dates? Hancock? Actually, the fact that Goosebumps, which is based on books and a TV show FOR kids is on this list just confuses me.
