Even Fizzbin knows how life likes to mess with me.

I’ve had a number of late posts this week and last week was a struggle to get things in on time. This week my schedule is clear outside of a friend coming to visit so I’m hoping I get stuff up on time, and maybe even get caught up on the Worldbuilding Project. However, history shows my plans seldom succeed. I didn’t even have a report for The Clutter Reports this week except to say I didn’t have a report.

Whether or not I get some Worldbuilding work in this week I do want to get the next story from the He-Man Newspaper Strips in this week. We’re also finally caught up with the Phantom comics from Moonstone Books (not to be confused with Moonstone from the Thunderbolts) so we’ll jump back forward to #20 and the next storyline. We also have the first original story from the SLG Gargoylesrun. And I’ve decided to make some commentary about the current state of reviewing in light of recent events in the reviewing community. Not about Channel Awesome directly although I may make a comment or two in passing. There are plenty of other people covering that angle, especially on YouTube. No, I want to focus on the rest of the community and how the game has changed now. (No pun intended if you follow Twitter hashtags.) And while I’m under no delusion I’ll have that last ConnectiCon panel done this week I hope to at least start the darn thing. At least I had one last night, the Deep Space Nine Q&A. So I’ve got a full week planned. Let’s see how many of those plans come out, shall we?

I look forward to the next He-Man newspaper comic strip. Your reviews remind me of how awesome that book is. In fact, I plan to ask for it as a birthday gift from my parents come September. Hope you have a better week this week. Oh, will you be writing something about last week’s shooting at Youtube by the disgruntled Youtuber?

    • Not the kind of story I cover. It is sad to hear though. I haven’t had the chance to really read up on it.

Yes, I can definitely understand you’re wanting to keep things positive on your website. After all, that is something I enjoy about your site is the overall positive vibe. Supposedly, the shooter was upset with how Youtube was handling her videos. From the clips I saw on the news, her videos looked quite odd. But she felt like she was being treated unfairly by Youtube. It is scary that somebody would resort to violence over such things.
