The next Star Wars character movie was supposed to be about Boba Fett. However, with the live-action series The Mandalorian in production, they opted for his homeworld rather than Fett himself and canceled the movie in favor of the series.
As I’ve stated before I don’t understand the Fett worship to begin with. Yeah, he has cool armor, but now so does his whole planet. Otherwise what did he really do in Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi that made him so popular the novels even tried to un-kill him?

Personally, I want to see a Jabba the Hutt movie. I want to know what makes Jabba tick….from his birth, childhood, early adulthood, adulthood, and ending with his final demise at the hands of Princess Leia. But based on the current shying away from Star Wars anthology films (due to the lackluster profits of Solo), this likely won’t ever happen.
