Now if the movie ends with a good kid with superpowers taking him down I might approve. Bonus if he wears bright colors.

That’s what I got from the trailer anyway, and I’m not interested in the life story of supervillains anymore. It seems to be all comic writers care about anymore. My old boss Ozzie Arcane from Reviewers Unknown would be calling this too much supervillains and he’s a supervillain fan. His character was even a supervillain. Note that I’m not speaking to the quality of the movie. The trailer makes the effects look decent enough and it may be well made. I’m just not a horror fan to begin with and making yet another evil Superman, this time as Superboy, is not going to win me over.

In this week’s Clutter Report I redid my list of clutter projects and made a few lists to organize information and prep projects for this site. If it sounds easy read the article because there are good and bad ways to go about it.

Fun fact: I found out a few different ad-sponsored streaming sites finally have the original broadcast versions of Robotech and not just the “put the blood and boobs back into it” remasters Harmony Gold made recently. The Robotech theme just looks weird over the unedited opening for Super Dimension Fortress Macross and other pre-Robotech shows. So now I don’t have to use illegal YouTube uploads anymore to compare the show with the Comico adaptation. Not that it’s going to matter for the next two weeks since there are two more issues of Vermilion to go. Meanwhile I need to get the captions up for the Clash Of The Bionoids review so I can get started on the next Video Review, which thanks to timing is probably going to be another Robotech-related review instead of the one I had planned to do next. We’ll see what time allows and where I am in the comic collection. I’d like to get this one posted on time unlike the last one.

Hope everyone has a good week and you enjoy the reviews and commentaries to come this week.

I read today that the last Kmart store in Connecticut will be closing in December. Back in the 1980s, Kmart stores were where many kids got their toys from (in fact, the Kmart that’s closing is where I think I got my Matchbox Vehicle Voltron toy from). Will you be writing an article about the nationwide demise of Kmart and Kmart’s influence on kids during the 1980s?

I had planned tonight on watching the Blackstar video and write up you posted, but I recently got a phone call about how one of my cousins passed away. Definitely not in a video viewing mood at the moment, but I will get to it when I’m ready. Thank you for continuing to remind people about the great creative works of Filmation, Tronix.
